General Dentistry

At Family Dentistry of San Antonio we provide dental care in a friendly and comfortable environment. Patients of all ages see us for everything from regular check-ups and family dental care to complex restorative treatment. Family dentistry and general dentistry are primarily preventive dentistry practices. They are considered to be the first level of defense against dental abnormalities. Majority of dental problems can, and should be prevented by regular visits for periodic checkup, x-rays, cleaning, and good home care.

Regularly scheduled preventative treatments can help with the detection of oral health problems long before the onset of symptoms, and save you time and money while helping you avoid complicated dental procedures. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends that you visit your family dentist for a checkup a minimum of two times each year.
